What We're All About

Indian Acupuncture Holistic Academy (IAHA) is a Kottakkal based organization with over a decade of experience in the field of acupuncture. Acupuncture Federation Kerala (AFK) is an association of acupuncturists who have graduated from this academy. AFK focuses on imparting necessary continuing education to acupuncturists and conducting health awareness classes, seminars and camps among the masses.

AFK is proud to announce that every year the National Acupuncture Science Congress is being held prominently in the field of health.

AFK is also carrying out life-saving works by identifying poor individuals and families in the society.

Who We Are

Acupuncture is a drug-free treatment that claims a 5000-year tradition. It is a treatment method approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and currently practiced in 183 countries. 103 countries have already recognized acupuncture as an independent medical practice. The Government of India has also approved acupuncture as a mode of therapy.

AFK is an association of acupuncturists who have graduated from IAHA, an acupuncture training institute based in Kottakal, rendering commendable services in the field of acupuncture.

To support proper acupuncture education in Kerala, to help practicing acupuncturists by giving proper instructions as per WHO’s recommendations, to spread acupuncture in the society, to organize free health awareness classes, seminars and camps, to coordinate various acupuncture organizations to work forward, to bring relief to those who are suffering under the organization. These are the actions taken by AFK.
